Our Offices

The Tree Pittsburgh office is located at 5427 Penn Avenue. Our office features some great local hardwoods--in the floor!

Our office floor was made by the late John Metzler, a local Pittsburgh woodworker who founded the Urban Tree Forge right in Lincoln-Larimer.  John gave new life to trees that had been removed in the City of Pittsburgh, turning them into furniture, sculpture, flooring, and other functional wood products.  Tree Pittsburgh is proud to feature completely local flooring and to put salvaged wood to use.

Additionally, the building was a total rehabilitation of a standing vacant storefront, reusing an existing space rather than building a new one.  Tree Pittsburgh has a rainbarrel to capture stormwater from the roof, bike racks, is located on a major bus route, and boasts a street tree in front.  Come say hi to us!
